Wonderful documentary history of make-up in three parts. Especially interesting in relation to beauty, expression, projection and portraiture. The first episode looked at the 18C…all white face-paint and big hair…There were a few good tricks too; smokey cloves for eyebrows, and red crepe-paper for lips.
