Ridley Scott has produced a terrific drama series about the 19C expedition to discover the north-west passage, across the arctic, to the pacific…the expedition ended in tragedy and a certain amount of mystery. No one is really certain of what happened.

The art-direction combines a number of themes deriving from fine-art, photography and the images and mythology of exploration.
